In the Studio
Each day we are surrounded by an alarming whirlwind of constant stimulation. Over stimulation. In many instances to an unhealthy level. Social media, shouting voices commanding attention, instant contact, a flurry of messages in disparity, false representations… Chaos. The world needs more healing and positive vibes.
The studio is a place where I can escape all negativity, reflect, channel my inner subconscious, and convert off-putting vibes into good actions. Some paintings come together rapidly whereas others take months. It’s often multiple pieces are a work in progress at any given time. Each painting has a backstory—a personal experience or observation of our beautiful outdoors or society—to visually tell.
